If you'd like to be a "Cover Girl", come Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

(Call first in July and August to be sure someone is there!)

Bring your own lunch and enjoy fellowship!

This is a group that gets together almost every Wednesday to sew quilts (the "covers").  In 2022 we were limited by COVID safe practices to meet at the beginning of the year.  When we were able to sew, we created 52 quilts.  And one of our sewers created "pillowcase" dresses made for young girls.

Our knitters donated 181 toques, 4 scarves, and 14 pairs of knitted slippers.

We’re sure we made a lot of people happy.

Donations needed:

All this creating needs supplies.  For the quilts we need fabric, filler and thread.  The fabric can be  anything we can cut into squares that is washable.  Bed sheets work well!

We are always in need of yarn for the knitters!  4-ply knitting worsted suitable for hats.

Our quilts are distributed to those in need here in Toronto.

Previously they were sent to CLWR and shipped around the world.

We also have several knitters....hats, scarves, and mittens for school children who have none, and for people living on the street.  Winters are cold!
