He is coming!

Advent means "coming" -- and we wait with patience, anticipation and hope.  Happy New Year!  It's also the beginning of a new church year.  Advent begins 4 Sundays before Christmas.  We celebrate one theme each week:

1st Sunday in Advent is December 2, 2018. Share the Hope and join us for worship!

Introducing the Psalms: Join Pastor Tuula Mondays @ 2:30 or 7:30 for a Bible study to hear and respond to the poetry and imagery of the Psalms.  She will be using From Whom No Secrets are Hid as the launching point for the Psalms.(December 3, 10, 17)

December 16th is Music and Pageant Sunday!  Share the story and joy of music with our children, choirs, and musicians and stay for lunch.

December 21st @7:30pm we will have a special Blue Christmas/Longest Night service.  Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays.  For some Christmas hurts.  Join us on the Winter Solsticeto light a candle to help conquer the darkness.  And know that you are not alone.

Candlelight Services (December 24th)

4:30pm Traditional Candlelight and Carols with Holy Communion
and
9:00pm for a Jazz-y Carols and Candlelight Service 

Note:  there will not be a service on Christmas Day.  Celebrate the first gift of Christmas, Jesus' birth, with your family and friends!
